Our High Holidays were a gift to share together. With deep gratitude to Rabbi Diane Elliot, Rabbi David Baron, and Hazzan Sue Knight Deutsch—and to Ellen Dosick and her beautiful choir—for the words that lifted us and the melodies that opened our hearts. And thank you to all who joined us - in-person and online—your presence made these High Holidays truly meaningful.

Several of our members are part of the Jewish musical group Kol Tefillah (The Voice of Prayer). We are often blessed with their musical accompaniment at our Shabbat Morning services! Learn more about the beautiful music they are making here
Founded in 1995, Shir Ha-Yam (Song of the Sea) has grown from a small group of friends to a community that has monthly Saturday Shabbat services, Friday night meditation, and chant circle using Rabbi Shefa Gold's chants. We are a member of the international organization ALEPH, the Alliance for Jewish Renewal
Our history is rooted in the teachings of Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi, of blessed memory.
Taking the best of Jewish tradition, we enliven it with meditation, music, movement, and chanting.
