Chavurat Shir Ha-Yam invites you to
A Shabbaton led by Rabbi Diane Elliot
Jan 30-Feb 1, 2026
How do we find support in our spiritual community during times of stress?
Come and join Rabbi Diane Elliot in a conversation about how we can co-create a conscious, respectful, spiritually rich, inclusive, caring Jewishly-centered community in San Diego! How you can integrate Jewish spiritual practices on a daily basis to stay centered.
We’ll journey through the Kabbalistic Four Worlds of Action, Feeling, Imagination and Spirit and explore how they might undergird the process of community-building and personal spiritual practice.
Rabbi Diane grew up in the Reform movement in the Chicago area and worked at the Olin-Sang-Ruby Union Institute camp in Wisconsin in the 1960’s. Active in the Jewish Renewal movement for 30 years, she has served as a rabbinic intern with Havurat Shir Ha-Yam and the Elijah Minyan in San Diego and as the spiritual leader of the Aquarian Minyan in Berkeley and has taught at ALEPH Kallot, Ruach HaAretz retreats, and in synagogues across the country. Ordained at the Academy for Jewish Religion, California in 2006, she currently she directs ALEPH’s Embodying Spirit program and serves on the Spiritual Direction faculty of the ALEPH Ordination programs.
